Honda, as per schedule, has started dispatching the H’Ness CB350 across India with deliveries expected to begin by the end of October. The bike was introduced into the market last month in September and proved to be quite promising. It’s the fourth BS6 bike to be launched under Honda’s Big Wing portfolio. It's available in two variants -- DLX and DLX pro priced at Rs 1.85 lakh and Rs Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. You can choose from a total of six colours.

It’s Honda’s first product offering in the retro classic segment which has been positioned to take on Royal Enfield on its home turf. It already has the edge over its rival with features like LED lights, traction control, and smartphone connectivity on the DLX Pro model.

Powering the bike is a 348.36cc single-cylinder air-cooled counterbalanced engine that makes 21PS and 30Nm -- 1.64PS and 2Nm more than the Classic 350. We would have loved to see a 6-speed gearbox, but the CB350's 5-speed transmission gets a slip and assist clutch which kind of makes up for the lack of an extra cog.
The Honda CB350 competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Meteor 350, Jawa and the Benelli Imperiale 400.
