The Jawa 42 2.1-rivalling retro roadster was launched in February
Last month, Honda surprised us with the launch of the CB350RS, a slightly sportier alternative to the H’Ness CB350. Now, Big Wing Honda has announced that deliveries for the bike have begun across the country. Priced at Rs 1.96 lakh onwards (ex-showroom Delhi), the RS is Rs 3,500 dearer than the DLX Pro variant of the H’Ness. The bike is available in a single variant and two colour options -- a single-tone Radiant Metallic Red and a dual-tone Black with Pearl Sports Yellow. The dual-tone paint scheme costs Rs 2,000 more than the single-tone.
Honda H’ness CB350 - Road Test Review
The Honda CB350RS is powered by the same 348.3cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine as that of the H’Ness, churning out 21.07PS at 5500rpm and 30Nm at 3000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. While it still gets first-in-segment features like slipper clutch, traction control, and even the same part-digital instrument console as that of the H’Ness, it misses out on Bluetooth connectivity and USB charging.
The bike comes with a 6-year warranty package, including a 3-year standard warranty and a 3-year extended warranty (optional). Currently, the Honda CB350RS has only one rival in the Jawa 42 2.1, which we think is Jawa’s A-Game. Here’s why. And, if you are wondering how the CB350RS fares, watch out for our review dropping soon.
