Honda Motorcycles arrives with new Dio for just Rs. 42,362

There was a time when Bajaj was the dominant leader in the Indian scooter segment. But, slowly and steadily, this manufacturer shifted its focal point to motorcycles and the well-known geared scooter Chetak went out of production. In the meantime, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda launched the Indian section of Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India better known as HSCI and went on becoming the leader of the scooter segment of the country in no time. Honda introduced Honda Activa, which became a runaway success and is currently in its second generation and still commands massive waiting period. However, Honda Activa is not over styled and attracts a large chunk of the society. This two-wheeler is actually the sister to another scooter with same 102cc of petrol engine that cajoled the youngsters of the country with its Moto Scooter looks.
Now the firm has proudly introduced the brand new Honda Dio scooter, which is powered with a responsive 110cc of engine, which as the ability to churn out 8 BHP of power. The engine has been borrowed from the second generation Honda Activa, which claims to deliver about 15% higher fuel economy than before that was 55 km per litre. The new Dio has been introduced with a reasonable price tag of merely Rs. 42,362. This new scooter is expected to be available from the end of this month.
The new Honda Dio is stylish and chic and comes with a fresh front design accompanied with smart tail light adjustment. New Honda Dio will also sport Honda’s traditional braking system known as Combi Brake System, which will ensure safety of the driver to a great extent. According to the VP of sales and Marketing of Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India, Mr. N.K. Rattan, the improved and enhanced comfort along with convenience with New Dio will certainly attract both young females and males of the country.
