Honda’s Activa range alone sold 49,677 more units than the other four combined
While India is the biggest two-wheeler market in the world, scooters have always remained a favourite among consumers as they offer convenience, functionality, versatility and are affordable. Hence, it's not a surprise that consumers have a plethora of options to choose from.
That said, the monthly sales chart has been dominated by certain scooters that are eternal favourites of Indian consumers. Here, we look at the top five scooters that sold the most in July 2022:

It’s no surprise that the Honda Activa range, consisting of the 110 and 125, continue to remain at the top, despite being under-equipped when compared to its main rival, the TVS Jupiter, which stands second in the list.
However, what is surprising is the sheer volume by which these are selling, as the number of Activas sold in July are way more than the other four combined; outselling its arch-rival almost three to one. Now with the launch of the Premium edition, the Activa’s sales are bound to go up even higher. No wonder it has become a household name. The Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Dio take the third and fourth place respectively, retaining the same standings as last month, while still showing substantial increase in sales. The feature loaded, sporty TVS NTorq grabs the fifth spot on the chart.
