The second episode of the Ducati World Première web series has brought to us the 2021 Scrambler range which includes the Desert Sled, Scrambler Nightshift and Icon. All three models have been updated to comply with strict Euro 5 and by extension BS6 emission norms. Ducati has updated its entire Scrambler range with new colours and minor cosmetic changes.
To get right to it, the 2021 Desert Sled comes in a new Sparking Blue livery which pays tribute to the Enduro bikes of the ‘80s with red and white details on the fuel tank and mudguards coupled with gold rims. It even gets a new anti-slip lining for the seat, 200mm fork travel and a redesigned headlight mesh guard.
The Ducati Nightshift highlights its distinctive character with classic lines, dark colours, and a straight and narrow handlebar with café racer mirrors. Overall, the bike looks aggressive and visually compact. According to Ducati, the revised seat design can now easily accommodate the rider and pillion.

And then there's the Ducati Scrambler Icon which comes in a stonking new Ducati Red paint scheme paired with its classic 62 Yellow with black frame and black seat. There's no difference in terms of performance and mechanicals for either of the bikes. The Scrambler range continues to use the same 803cc Desmodromic L-Twin that makes 72.87PS at 8250rpm and 66.2Nm at 5750rpm.
For the European market, the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled will be available towards the end of November with the Scrambler Nightshift following suit in December. As for the Ducati Scrambler Icon in "Ducati Red", it will make its way to dealerships by the end of January. What about India though? Well, we expect Ducati to bring in its updated Scrambler range in the early weeks of 2021. There's a lot more heading our way so stay tuned to BikeDekho for the next episode of Ducati World Première which airs on Wednesday 18 November.
