The Multistrada 950 S, which comes with several extra goodies, is expected to be priced around Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries will commence in the first week of November.
The more technologically advanced Multistrada 950 S (compared to the standard model), which eluded us for nearly two years, will finally be available in India. It comes with Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO, a bidirectional quickshifter, LED lighting with cornering lights, and a 5-inch colour TFT console with Ducati’s multimedia system among other things. This will definitely improve the overall rideability of the bike.

Apart from being Euro 5 and BS6 compliant, the 937cc L-twin Testastretta mill powering the bike remains unchanged. It continues to make 113PS and 96Nm. Electronic aids include a six-axis IMU from Bosch offering lean-sensitive traction control and cornering ABS.
Ducati recently launched a new ‘GP White’ livery for the Multistrada 950 S. The paint scheme, which is available for the international market, is expected to make its way to India at a later stage. As for the standard Ducati Multistrada 950 S, it will take on the Triumph Tiger 900, Kawasaki Versys 1000 and upcoming Suzuki V-Strom 1050 here in India.
