Ducati Multistrada Coming to India By December 2015

Ducati, the Italian superbike maker is planning to launch Multistrada in the country by the end of this year. With this bike, the company is entering into the adventure motorcycle segment in India. The manufacturer will offer both the ‘Regular’ and ‘S’ variants of the Multistrada with an expected price around 18-20 Lakh (on-road) in the Indian market.

In March 2015, the company re-entered in India with the largest dealership in the world which is situated in Delhi. The Italian manufacturer got a huge response from Indian bike lovers.
The upcoming motorcycle gets all new chassis equipped with Inertial Measurement Unit. Along with it, the bike comes with Full-LED headlights, larger air vents and LED units with cornering function. The other features are Bosch cornering ABS, Ducati Skyhook suspension (DSS), Cruise control, keyless ignition, Ducati safety Pack (DSP), Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) and Ducati multimedia system.
On the account of power, the motorcycle will be equipped with a Desmodromic 1200cc, Liquid-cooled V-twin motor that is expected to churn out 160bhp of maximum power and 136Nm of peak torque.
All these two-wheeled machines will be brought in the country Via Completely Built-Up (CBU) route. It will be quite interesting to see that how the Ducati’s new launch will make an impact on Indian bike fans.
