Ducati Scrambler bookings start in India, priced at Rs. 6.57 lac

Ducati India has started taking bookings for its least priced motorcycle- Scrambler Ducati, starting from Rs. 6.57 lac (ex-showroom, Mumbai), Currently, the only variant Icon is on sale, which is only available in Red. Booking amount is around Rs. 50,000 and deliveries are expected to be commenced by the end of May, 2015 after its official launch. The bike is imported from Thailand as CBU (Completely Built Unit).

Scrambler Ducati is a lifestyle motorcycle with off-road as well as on-road riding characteristics. The bike was voted as the most beutiful motorcycle at the 2014 EICMA, so we don't need to say much about its styling. In brief, it is a fusion of retro and modern design, which surely allure you to laid your hand on it.

Powering the Scrambler Ducatis is the same 803cc, air-cooled, L-Twin motor, which powers the Monster 795 and 796 models. However, it has been retuned to deliver slightly lesser output with more refined performance. The mill makes 75bhp of maximum power at 8,250rpm and a peak torque of 5,750rpm at The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox via wet multi-plate clutch assemble, which performs smooth transiction.
