Besides a greener motor, the hypernaked gets a meaner paint scheme
- New motor offers the same power and torque as before.
- It gets a new Stealth Black paint job.
- Expect an India launch by early 2021.
Ducati’s Streetfighter V4 has received an Euro 5/BS6 compliant motor. The hypernaked motorcycle also gets cosmetic updates in the form of a new Stealth Black paint job. While the new motor continues to deliver the same output as before, there is a minor change in power delivery.

The updated 1103cc V4 motor gets a new exhaust system and some minor tweaks to its internals. It continues to deliver 208PS and 123Nm as before. That said, peak power arrives 250rpm higher than the Euro 4 motor, at 13,000rpm. Peak torque, though, comes at 9,500rpm, 2000rpm lower than its predecessor. Given that the torque is more accessible now, we expect the Streetfighter V4 to offer better performance lower down the rev range.

Besides an updated motor and a new paint scheme, the 2021 Streetfighter V4 gets new self-bleeding front brake and clutch pumps borrowed from its Panigale V4 cousin.
Ducati did not bring the Streetfighter V4 in India owing to the new BS6 norms coming to effect in April this year. Now with the Euro 5 spec Streetfighter V4 meeting BS6 norms, we see no reason why Ducati would not launch the hypernaked here. We expect the 2021 Streetfighter V4 to launch in India by early 2021. Prices could start at around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
