As the world crawls back to normalcy fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, Ducati has launched the new Hypermotard 950 RVE. The new motorcycle distinguishes itself with a livery called ‘Graffiti,’ which is similar to the one seen on the Hypermotard 950 Concept presented at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este last year.

According to Ducati, to get the livery in mass production it had to develop a new painting process and the craftsmen have to work with extremely thin decals. In our opinion the new livery gels well with the hooligan nature of the Hypermotard, and those red-black dual tone finish wheels aren't subtle by any means.

Apart from giving it visual flair, Ducati engineers have also equipped the Hypermotard 950 RVE with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. Powering the bike is the same twin-cylinder 937cc Testastretta motor as seen on the standard Hypermotard 950, producing 114PS at 9,000rpm and 96Nm at 7,250rpm. Talking about electronics the bike gets multi-level traction control, ride modes, cornering ABS and wheelie control.
