It comes with a claimed range of 150km and a 100kmph top speed
We know we have brought you a bunch of weird flexes of bikes and scooters that look either absolutely berserk or identical to a more acclaimed manufacturer’s two-wheeler. However, the Chinese Hanbird Devil electric motorcycle is both.
Well, let’s start with the design and the Hanbird Devil electric motorcycle looks absolutely mad. Imagine a teenage Ducati Multistrada, that is exactly how the Chinese EV looks, with some parts resembling the Suzuki Intruder.
While the front adopts ADV styling elements with a long beak and front fork, the rear looks like a cruiser with its boxy design language. So, all in all, it looks interesting, but not in the most appealing way.
What’s powering this cruiser-ADV hybrid? Either a 2kW or a 5kW hub motor that claims a top speed between 40kmph and 100kmph depending on the motor’s power. The electric motor can come paired to either a 72V Li-ion or lead-acid battery pack that claims a range anywhere between 40km and 150km.

From what we understand looking at one of the pictures of the bike, it is also available in a mid-motor configuration with a belt drive system. However, the exact specifications of this configuration are unclear.
In terms of underpinnings, the e-bike runs a USD fork and monoshock suspension setup. For braking, it uses discs at both ends and rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels.
Summing up, the Hanbird Devil electric motorcycle, though quirky, will not be heading to our shores at all. It is priced in the range of USD 900 to USD 1500 (Rs 71,000 to Rs 1.19 lakh) depending on the order quantity.
