The Scrambler will be the most affordable BS6 offering from Ducati
Ducati has officially announced that the Scrambler range will be launching tomorrow. After their debut at the 2021 World Ducati Premiere, the prices of the BS6-compliant Scrambler range surfaced on the brand’s website. Surprisingly, the brand will be launching only three models, likely to be the Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Icon Dark, and the Desert Sled.
The base model is the Scrambler Icon Dark, and as the name suggests, it gets a blacked-out theme. As for the Scrambler Icon, it now comes in a striking Ducati Red paint scheme in addition to the iconic 62 Yellow colour.
The Desert Sled, too, gets an updated paint scheme for 2021. The Sparkling Blue livery, coupled with the red accents and gold rims, pays homage to the enduro bikes of the ‘80s. The bike also gets an anti-slip lining for the seat and a redesigned headlight guard.

Talking about firepower, the Scramblers continue to be pushed by the Desmodromic, 803cc, L-twin engine generating 72.87PS at 8250rpm and 66.2Nm at 5750rpm, which is the same as the BS4 models.
Also showcased during the World Ducati Premiere was the Scrambler Nightshift, a cafe racer-inspired variant likely to be launched in the country in the next few months. With as many as 12 launches scheduled in 2021 in India, Ducati certainly has a busy year ahead.
